PLOS ONE is a multidisciplinary open access journal. It publishes science-based research reports, regardless of their topicality, including negative results, and aims to highlight connections between research areas or disciplines.
Dr. Claudia Staab-Weijnitz has been head of the core unit Matrix Genotyping at CPC-M since 2017 and is the scientific director of the CPC Research School. Among other things, she is investigating the biosynthesis and maturation pathway of collagen as a new therapeutic route to the treatment of pulmonary fibrosis.
